Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to give you some quick updates about the future for GPS. This Wednesday GPS will not be meeting so that people can come to one of our traditional Christmas Eve Services in our main sanctuary. The services are at 4:30pm, 7:30pm, and 11:00pm. All three services will be candlelight services. They really are fantastically powerful services. I hope to see you at one of those services. We will meet on New Year’s Eve but the service is moved up a half hour so people can get on with their evening plans. That means we will be meeting at 6:00pm on December 31.
The sermon series for January and February are going to be great. In January I will be preaching a sermon series on “Telling Your Story”. How has God been moving in the midst of your life and who have you told about it? Someone needs to hear your story. In the movie, “Shawshank Redemption”, the lead character Andy says that he needs to get busy livin’ or get busy dyin’. For someone the difference between livin’ and dyin’ may be you telling them your story. How do we do that? It will culminate with a personal witness by a GPSer who has experienced God in a brand new way. Please do not miss this witness.
In February I will be preaching about a new ministry within Church of the Saviour that will change our church and our community and possibly the world. The new ministry is called “90 by 90”. How can all of us serve 90 minutes in 90 days? It is a challenge to serve the God who has blessed us so abundantly. I hope that this wets your appetite to come to GPS in 2009. God is moving in the midst of our services and without you there, something is missing.
I want to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Please keep checking the website as we work to get it updated. There has been a lot of change in our family and we are working on getting the website more up to date. Stick with it folks. God bless you.
His,
Rev. Daniel F. Bogre
Pastor of GPS

It is going to be a great night for the GPS family. Please plan on attending to celebrate our first baptisms.
On November 4th GPS will be one year old. It was a year ago that GPS started at the Centrum Theater. I cannot believe that a whole year has gone by already. We have had many joys and celebrations and also many frustrations. The month of November will be about the GPS vision. We will talk about where God has been throughout the first year. We will also talk about where God wants to take us in year number two. We will have our first GPS baptisms on Wednesday, November 19. What a huge celebration that will be.
In December we will be using another family friendly Christmas movie to see how God will move through the Christmas season this year. Come and see what the movie choice is. You will be very excited and surprised.
I hope to see you this Wednesday for our Happy Birthday celebration. Thank you so much for sticking with GPS through all of our ups and downs. God has some great things just around the corner for GPS. I hope you will want to be a part of it. See you Wednesday at 6:30pm. We’ll take care of dinner.

Stay tuned to our website because there is a big announcement coming later this week.
What is up everybody,
We are right in the middle of our series on worship. We are going with a baseball analogy in regards to worship. Why do we worship? How do we worship? How come I don’t always experience God when I worship? At GPS we are wrestling with those questions each week. This week however (August 3rd) we are having another connecting event. Please bring some food to share. We will share communion around the tables and then get to know each other through different games. We will play whiffle ball, cornhole, ping-pong, Euchere, foam bowling and basketball. Keep working on your BIg Questions because that series is only a few weeks away. I cannot wait to see you this Sunday at 5:30pm.
His,
Dan Bogre–Pastor of GPS
