I pray for glimpses all the time. Have you ever noticed that sometimes it rains for two or three days at a time? When it rains like that I love it when the sun shines through just for a minute to remind me that the storm will pass. That is the glimpse I need to get me through the rain. Life is like that. Sometimes is rains. I pray that God will give me a glimpse of what it will look like after the storm. My faith is in the midst of a storm front right now. I am praying for a glimpse. I hope that God gives you the glimpses that you need to get you through the storms. Sometimes it rains…but the sun us just around the corner.

Connect people to GPS. Connect GPS people to each other. Connect GPS people to Christ. Connect GPS people to the community. It’s simple and straight forward. We are all about connecting. We have different strategies to accomplish all of these goals. We cannot accomplish any of them if you are not there. I don’t want to complicate it or confuse folks with the direction we are going. We want you to feel like you belong long before you believe. Please share the GPS vision with people in your life circles. That is the best way for GPS to become the life changing agent that God is calling it to be. I would love to hear what you think about the GPS vision and where we know God is taking us. Email me at dfbogre@chsaviour.org. Thank you for giving GPS a chance. We are only 5 months old and we are already seeing people impacted by GPS and it’s vision. Is it your turn?

Did any of you think that church could be so much fun? Last night at GPS was all about opening day of the Cleveland Indians. We had a first pitch, a 7th inning stretch, cotton candy, hotdogs, sunflower seeds, and a powerful Gospel message. You folks were so much fun last night. Thank you for reminding me how much fun church can be. The gospel message was still preached and we had a blast at the same time. What a night! Thank you everybody.
Hello Everybody,
It was Easter yesterday and I had no idea what to expect. You came through again. I thought that noone would be there because of the Easter holiday. There were so many of you there that you just blew me away. I really have to stop under estimating the power of God. That is another one of my struggles. Why am I still amazed at God’s grace? I pray that you were blessed by the sermon series in March. This Sunday is all about the opening day of the baseball season. Are you wondering how God can speak through baseball? Come and be amazed at God’s grace as he preaches through opening day of Major League Baseball. See you Sunday at 5:30pm. PLAY BALL!

Hello GPSers,
I just wanted to share with you some struggles I am having as this GPS thing keeps moving forward. I MISS THE COMMUNITY. We started at the Centrum on Coventry and now we are back at Church of the Saviour. I feel like I am getting too comfortable with our situation in the church. God called us to reach out to those not in church now. I need you GPSers to help me. I need your ideas, your input, your thoughts, your visions, and your dreams for ways that GPS can reach those folks. GPS has a great story of who Jesus is and what he can mean in someone’s life. Have I forgotten about the passion God put deep in my soul for those who have no idea who Jesus is? I just wanted to share that with you because I am really wrestling with that today. See you Sunday at 5:30pm with all of you ideas. I NEED YOU GUYS!

What’s up everybody?
If you have been to GPS and see the vision, have you told anyone about it and then invited them to try it out? If you have not tried it yet, what’s stopping you? GPS is just trying to do this JESUS thing in a new way. We want you to know that we thing that it is more important to belong that to believe at the start. GPS is a place where you fit. You will never know unless you try it. Just try it. See you this Sunday at 5:30pm for free pizza and pop. Come and talk to me. I am the tall goofy guy who tries to act like he knows what he is doing. Let me tell you all about GPS and why I know it can change the Heights community. It can start with you.

Hello GPSers,
Last night was one of the greatest Sundays I have ever experienced. We started our February sermon series called, “Give It Up”. Its all about giving. Last night was about giving our prayers to God and how easy that really can be. Next week will be about giving our presence to God. This sermon series is going to be great. I hope you plan on making it to some or all of them.
We also had a fantastic Super Bowl party. Thank you to all of you who brought food and munchies to share. It was such a cool time to see all you together just having fun. The kids were playing catch, the Gerlach’s were dancing to the halftime show, the adults were playing football, and there was just a lot of fun to be had by all. It really was one of the greatest Sundays of my life. Thank you GPSers for being such an awesome family. I can’t wait to see you this Sunday.
Keep it going with your small groups. I hope your mission projects are starting to come together. Remember that Sunday February 24th will be about giving God our service. Your small groups are going to play a huge role in that service. God bless all of you as your small groups start to become communities.
