A Message From Dan
No, really, what is GPS?
So many of us these days are using a GPS device to help us navigate around our daily lives. We find them on our cell phones, our PDAs, and mounted on our car dashboards. They really are amazing. All that you have to do is enter the address of the place you need to go and follow the directions of the GPS device. It will tell you to go left, right, straight, and take the ramp to the left. Sometimes, however, we cannot make the turn it instructs us to make. The GPS device does not shut off because we did not follow its commands. It simply says, “recalculating.” The GPS device did not quit on us, leave us stranded, or just completely shut down. It simply took us from our new location and found a new way to get us to the original destination.
At GPS we believe that God works the same way. God has a great plan for our lives. God loves us so much that he allows us to make all of the twists and turns in our lives. Sometimes we even choose to make the wrong turns. God does not just throw in the towel on us. God, through his grace, recalculates so that we can still take the journey to his great destination for our lives. That is what GPS is all about.
Where are you in life right now? Are you in the midst of some wrong turns? Are you still looking for the next turn to make? At GPS we want you to know that God is recalculating. At GPS we want you to know that we want you to feel like you belong before you believe. If you feel like GPS is where you belong, then God will take care of the belief part.
I hope to see you this Sunday, and every Sunday, for free pizza and pop at 5:30pm and then GPS at 6:00pm. GPS connecting…
His,
Dan Bogre-Pastor of GPS
