Where is the Warrior Jesus?

I have grown up in the church my whole life. Every church that I have been a part of has seemed to master the gentle, loving, comfortable, quiet, white-robed Jesus. I am man, a Christian man trying to figure out why my life is not always gentle, quiet, and comfortable. The fact is that there are times in my life when I need a Jesus that can come with power, might, and victory. There are battles in my life and I don’t want to, and can’t fight them on my own. The fact is that Jesus is also a might warrior. I have been given the whole armor of God for a reason. The fact is that my life is filled with battles and if I don’t realize that Jesus is also a mighty warrior, then I will be on my own. Are you looking for a Jesus that fights for, and with you in your day-to-day craziness? He IS there. Stop fighting all by yourself. September is all about that Jesus. Come this Sunday to hear that we even have a weapon to take in to battle. You are protected and equipped to fight. Bring on the battle because Jesus has already given us the victory.
